The use of the term 'smellyland' is not new but it indicates your contempt of all that is Somali. Only a Somali who is full of self loath would substitute the word smelly for Somali. You are blinded to the obvious in your rage for Somaliland and for this reason alone you have taken offense to the use of the word Somali.

Stop trying to rewrite history, there never was a war between Somalia and so called Somaliland! The isaaaqs rebelled against the central government which consisted of all somali clans including so-called Somaliland clans. The incoherent and incompetent SNM decided to use their innocent civilians as human sheilds while dressed in civilian clothing firing on the SNA soldiers. Knowing the brutal nature in wich Afweyne dealt with the majerten insurrection; how did the SNM expect the evil despot Afweyne would react to open defiance? The SNM never won a single battle because there were no major battles but just a savage guerilla war in which the Isaaaqs payed more heavily then any other clan. When the SNM invaded Hergeisa and Burco in 1988 that was the final straw and Afweyne mercilessly destroyed those cities.
Sorry for the history lesson but you've been seriously misled about the whole conflict between Puntland and Somaliland. The fact of the matter is the vast majority of the dhulbahante and warsengeli dont want any part of your isaaaq-dominated Somaliland anymore then you want to remain a part of somalia. You need to make up your mind, if the isaaaqs want to separate from Somalia because of the civil war then nobody is stopping you, but if you want to hijack a group of people who want no part of your hateful entity then you have a problem. So make up your minds do you Isaaqs want to secede from Daroods and other Somalis or do u want to remain in Somalia?? but just remember you cant have you cake and eat it too

If you don't want anything to do with Somalia, then you should drop the word Somali from your so called country and call it Isaaqland. 'colonial sympathiser' you say. It is true that Somaliland has a historical tie to britain which has survived to this day, but somalia equally has historical ties to italy which have survived to this day. When the government of Somaliland enters into dialogue with britain it is ridiculed, when somalia enters into dialogue with italy it is praised. When britain speaks on behalf of Somaliland you scorn, when italy speaks on behalf of somalia you rejoice. Who exactly is brainwashed and does not know it. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. There is no difference between the two except that Somaliland and its people are honest in their affairs. Using your own argument, you are a 'colonial sympathiser'. Again the use of the name 'Smelly' in place of somali, you must be seared with self hate.

Yet again, denial is not a river in egypt. The SNM never won a battle against the sna and yet the sna was broken and humilliated. Are you implying that there was some wishcraft involved, maybe a great suicide pact among the sna brought about their defeat.
You seem to advocate for inaction on the part of the SNM, dont do anything and somehow it will work out. Somehow the murdered is in whole or part responsible for the actions of the murderer. Using your brand of logic every man who has killed another throughout history has a get out clause. In Islam there are certain circumstances in which you are permitted to take the life of a fellow human being, whether muslim or not, in fact you are enjoined to show no mercy for that individual and to bring his life to an end. You know these circumstances even though you seek to deny them and they were in place during the liberation struggle of the SNM. Whether you like it or not the SNM were doing Allah's bidding carrying out their responsibilities in Jihad. It was not something that they took on lightly but once the war was brought to them they commited fully in the way of Allah and all Somalilanders wherever they are will be eternally grateful.
