Dalmar

"Daraawiish struggle against the British, 1/3 of Somaliland people we killed and because of that and many other reasons, he is not perceived as a hero to millions of other Somalis."

Are you claming that the Darwissh killed one third of the population of Somaliland are you now trying to change history, do you think that you are the only one who knows about the history of Somalia and think you can distort the history of Somalia without somebody knowing or are you talking with ignorance well if you do let me correct you.

This is how 1/3 of Somaliland population was killed.
After the Darwissh kicked out the British for 20 long years the British started handing out weapons to their servens hoping they would fight the British instead the fought amongst eachother and that is how 1/3 of the Somaliland population was killed.
A good punish from Allah the almighty for those who fought together withthe kafers the British.

No, He was not a hereo. I know though who is a hereo. Hereo is someone people want to be like and a happy about what that person did.. In my view in somalia we have only one hereo. I give you clues, this person acheived in 1993 and 6 years before that...

If you do not know who I am talking about than you  were reading the wrong books..

Somali heroes my aaass! There is no such thing as Darood  nationalist, it is an oxymoron. I remember how you apes cheered on the Yanks when they were killing the Hawiyes in Xamar/1993 when all other Somalis were demonstrating or raising qaadhaan for the Hawiye heroes. Where was your "somalinimo" then huh? Even your leaders like Morgan and Mahamed Abshir collobarated with the UNOSOM in hope of riding Uncle Sam's ***** back to Mogadisho were the gread Aidid ignominiously evicted your parasitic presence. I promise as long as their is one darood alive there shall be no somali unity. Blame Isaaqs all u want.

You people make me sick! I can not believe some of the crab I read on these pages. You folks represent the worst among us, the people who destroy our country.

Wake up you silly clanist, we are all in this together. Hate or not, the day will come when good loyal somalis from all over the world will rise up and kick you and your warlord friends out of our country and retake our country back from you silly warmongers.

If you cannot see the fact tribalism and clanism have destroy Somalia then I can only feel sorry for you.

I hope the day will come when all somalis will live together peacefully and unite again in the spirit of our ancestors who faught against the colonist decades ago.

To those who believe in Somalia, don't give up!

And to those who spread hate and clanism, wake up. You only destroying your own kind, your own people, and your own history. So much blood has been shed and so many lives have been lost during the past 14 years due to our civil war. When will you people stop this bs and bring our people together?

If you want peace remember it starts with you! You can't change the world unless you change yourself.

Peace and Long Live Somalia,

Abdi

Unfortunately you can't focus the centre of this arguement which is wether Sayid Mohommed Abudlle Hassan was a hero or not.

I see you have an innate tallent for offending people who don't share your opinion or don't happen to support Darawiish. Those who fought agains Darawiish were not the subservants of the British as you put it. They were honorable citizens that first sided with Sayid Mohammed but at the end realized that their leader didn't practice the Islamic faith that he preached.

Who cares how 1/3 of Somaliland people got killed, all it matters is that 1/3 of the population were wiped out.

If you want to debate with me, try to be objective or don't waste my time.

Dalmar,

Your reer abti must be darod, because you seem to have a soft spot for these animals. I for one have given up on reasoning with them. These savage brutes only understand force. So bro please don't waist your time on these filthy cowards.

Baaruud, Both of my parents are Isaaq. I don’t have soft spot. I learned that the best defense is to exercise the art of diplomacy and I do have respect and love for all Somali people regardless of their tribe or their geographical location and that is a choice I made.

I was too young to fight for Somaliland but now I am old enough to defend it using the art of diplomacy. I know sometimes kindness can be mistaken for weakness and if that is the case then so be it.

Hats off to you mate. However I've never met a darood that I could even hold a civilized conversation with for more than 10 minutes. Maybe because of my experience in Hargeisa during the 80's I remember their barbaric behaviour and cannot bring myself to forgive these scoundrels. Thank God I have no darod blood relatives so it makes it easier to despise them. I have one brother in law married to my cousin and most of my family and I have shunned that couple. They are like strangers to us although they live 1hour away. All other somalis are ok by me.

I knew you guys dalmar and baruud are on the somali downlow......hehehe, you ain't the first I heard of girls, but definately first on a Somali public site. No wonder why you folks talk loud in peace time and run when there is beef......hehehe. You guys face the fact isaqs are the minority in somalia and that is it, not only somalis know this but the rest of the world knows it too. You cannot withstand with harti darood only forget about rest of the darood family. Hawiye knows we have got your keys in somalia and we always had, it be with us or against us you would lose folks. Who can disagree with me. Out of the three major tribes in somalia you guys isaqs are minority, 15% of somalia is what you have, 85%percent of somalia are saying to yous you ain't going nowhere, go figure that. Stop talking this nonsense baruud, dalmar and xiis I have being hearing this since 1992 and it does not look good at all it only casts your people away from somalia and make you suffer inbreeding. Look at your children in hargaysa and burca and even those in diaspora. Boy do you suffer inbreeding or what? You guys don't have enough gene pool to be a nation. And stop insulting the prophet when you guys talk, that aint cool or that must be the inbreeding program ya'll been born from...hehehe.
I don't hate you guys I just can't stand your crap.
